The Precision Strobe Tuner App will request permission for Microphone data the first time it is run. It uses Audio data only when it is running and there is no background activity. It collects no other device data and does not share anything. Audio in, pixels out. Nothing more.

You can turn permission to use Microphone data OFF and ON at anytime:
Goto Settings/Privacy/Microphone and toggle the PST switch.
